AD 022 – The Cuteness That Came to Asgarth October 17th, 2010
Now that we’re halfway through October, we have another Halloween story. This is the second of Simon Barber’s H. P. Lushcraft tales to have appeared here, which are loving comedic homages to the milieu of H. P. Lovecraft. The story mixes wry dark humor with horror elements, as well as some romance this time.

Halloween Treat – The Great Old Pumpkin December 7th, 2009
Catching up on back issues of the Drabblecast, a weekly podcast of weird fiction, I found this belated Halloween treat. The Great Old Pumpkin is a fun story which manages to blend the Cthulu mythos with the familiar world of Peanuts holiday specials. It was a nice bit of clever humor which was a lot of fun to listen to.
